Career Development Program
At Air Products, we believe in recruiting top college graduates who can become tomorrow’s leaders, and our Career Development Program (CDP) does just that. We want you to succeed. With two to three assignments lasting between 8 and 12 months each, we’ll get you involved in challenging yet rewarding assignments applicable to your future. Naturally, we’ll give you the support you need to produce results, generate ideas, and make a real contribution. We’re committed to giving you the tools you need and an environment in which you can learn, develop, and grow.

Career Development Program Council
Each CDP member has an opportunity to be a part of our all-volunteer CDP Council. As a member of the CDP Council, not only will you organize events and participate in community service opportunities, but you’ll also build a network comprised of people with roles and experiences like yours.
The CDP Council’s goal is to enhance the experience of each CDP and help create a smooth transition into their role at Air Products. Through organized networking and development opportunities, the CDP Council creates a cohesive group of working professionals.
Developing Your Career
We encourage you to take an active role in influencing the direction of your career. That is an integral part of our company's career development philosophy overall and the Career Development Program. CDP participants develop their skills and interests through a rotation of two to three different assignments. As a CDP, you will explore opportunities throughout our program and ultimately determine a career path.
Career and personal development of employees is a vital part of our business strategy. As a result, all CDPs receive broad-based on-the-job training. You will be offered a wide range of internal courses covering technical, interpersonal and leadership topics. Where appropriate, external courses are supported.
Bachelors Program
Participants develop their technical and professional skills while achieving a better understanding of their areas of interest and strengths. The program consists of two to three rotations in different areas with durations of 8-12 months each.
Engineering
Air Products offers you a world of engineering opportunities on our Career Development Program. Air Products allows you to gain experience in a variety of engineering rotations.

This program is designed for Supply Chain graduates with an interest in procurement, logistics, process improvement, data analysis, and/or fleet management.
MBA Program
Real Work Experiences
As an MBA CDP, you'll have real work experiences with high visibility. You'll be given a broad perspective of our businesses and products and will be encouraged to take the lead in planning and developing your career. A senior manager or executive will be your mentor to assist you in guiding your career.
You Make an Impact
You will be encouraged to take on as much responsibility as you can handle, as quickly as you can handle it. You will have multiple challenges and exciting work in our business and corporate areas.
Networking Opportunities
You'll network with other MBA CDP's through business and social functions. You'll work with senior level managers and vice-presidents throughout the company. And you'll be invited to take advantage of our Employee Networks and Intramural Sports teams as other ways to meet and influence employees.

Rotational Assignments
Our rotational program for MBAs allows employees to rotate throughout our company in financial roles over a 2-year period. The career development program offers 3 assignments, lasting approx. 8 months in financial roles. Your initial assignment is determined by Air Products, considering your career interest as a new MBA and our business needs. You select subsequent assignments. Assignments are located at our corporate headquarters in Allentown, Pa.

Ph.D. Program
Are you working towards or recently graduated with a Ph.D. or post-doctoral degree? Are you skilled in engineering and science? Our cutting-edge Ph.D. program provides you with a unique opportunity of up to three rotational assignments lasting approximately one year each. These rotations complement your strengths and expand your skills while you gain insight into our corporate culture and play an active role in shaping your career.
